Hawaiian Honey First ‘Carbon Neutral’ Food

An Hawaiian honey company has launched what it describes as the nation’s first certified carbon neutral food product. The carbon neutral certification of Royal Hawaiian Honey is being carried out in cooperation with the Washington-based CarbonFund.org.

All carbon emissions generated in the production and shipping of the honey are off-set by investments in carbon-reducing projects.
